The 2009 Import and Export Market for Textile Curtains, Drapes, Interior Blinds, Roller Shades, and Bed Valences in Singapore

The 2009 Import and Export Market for Textile Curtains, Drapes, Interior Blinds, Roller Shades, and Bed Valences in Singapore

On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences in Singapore face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences to Singapore? How important is Singapore compared to others in terms of the entire global and regional market? How much do the imports of textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences vary from one country of origin to another in Singapore? On the supply side, Singapore also exports textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences. Which countries receive the most exports from Singapore? How are these exports concentrated across buyers? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences in Singapore. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences for those countries serving Singapore via exports, or supplying from Singapore via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models.

In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where Singapore fits into the world market for imported and exported textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for Singapore in particular,

365: 160: Numbers: Three Different Window Treatments

This is my window. There are:
1. Blinds
2. Brown Curtains
3. A green drape

Is that excessive?

This photo admittedly isn't great at all. I was on such a roll yesterday in the garden! Today's been busy- lots of errands, went to class, exercised, changed my screen name on Flickr to JMEllwood because I don't want anyone to think my last name is Mellwood, I set up a twitter account (what?!), I'm going to a banquet, and then I desperately need to do some homework.. Of course, I've been saying that all week and have been playing N64 and working on jigsaw puzzles instead.

Oh also, I've got some cool photo project opportunities coming up in the next few weeks that I'm super excited about!! Stay tuned!

Day 228: Recycled

Day 228: Recycled

My mom used my sister's old tahitian dancing wraps as curtains in my old room. I love the dash of randomness to the traditional curtains/drapes and the colors that they bring to the room.
